Abstract

The biologically active site of neocarzinostatin-chromophore (NCS-chr) is determined by the spectral data and biological activities for NCS-chr and related compounds. The bicyclododecadienediyne moiety in the NCS-chr molecule apparently is responsible for its bilogical activity.
